Commitment to the Environment

Our gourmet eggs are produced with a watchful eye on the environment. From feeding the hens a diet containing wheat grown in nearby Tarras, through to packing the eggs on-site into cartons made from 100% recycled and biodegradable paper sources.

Of course, the planting of hundreds of trees has made a significant positive impact to our carbon footprint – and will continue to do so as the trees grow in size and as our extensive planting programme continues. The on-site packing also helps keep our carbon footprint modest.

Our commitment to the environment encompasses the hens’ animal health. Through exceptionally diligent management and well-informed policies, there has been no need for antibiotic use on the Glenpark Free Range Farm.
